The first named pairing in each match are the challengers.

The challengers shall offer a minimum of two weekend dates for playing the tie. The closing day for each round is a Sunday. The challengers should make contact with the opponent in the first week that the tie is made, or as soon as practicable. Please do not leave arranging a date for the tie until the last few days.

In the event of agreement not being reached regarding the date, the tie shall be played on the final date set down for that round.

Should the tie not be played within the prescribed time, and provided the challengers have complied with the above conditions, they shall go forward to the next round. If the conditions have not been complied with, the opponents shall go forward to the next round.
